Language Training

Aurelian Academy offers comprehensive language training courses, particularly for international students whose first language is not English. These courses are designed to strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing so students can communicate and study successfully in an academic environment. Delivery combines small-group instruction, one-on-one tutoring, and online learning modules to meet each learner's needs.

University & Course Planning

Every student receives personalized university and course planning. Through one-on-one consultations with career advisors, students select courses aligned with their interests and career goals and map out a clear path to university and beyond. The school also runs seminars and info sessions on career opportunities across different fields.

University Applications

During the university application process, Aurelian Academy provides end-to-end support: choosing the right universities and programs, preparing application materials, writing personal statements, and mock interview training. Our experienced university counseling team helps students strengthen their applications and improve their chances of admission to top universities.

Academic Oversight

Aurelian Academy enforces a rigorous academic oversight policy to ensure every student reaches their academic potential. Regular grade assessments and feedback let us identify academic challenges early and provide the tutoring and support needed. Teachers meet with students online on a scheduled cadence to discuss progress and any concerns that need attention.

High-Frequency Home-School Communication

Aurelian Academy takes home-school communication seriously and maintains a high-frequency contact cadence with families. Through structured channels, parents stay informed about learning progress, grades, attendance, and next-stage plans — building a true partnership between school, student, and family in support of the student's growth.

How Learning Works

Teaching model

Structured, teacher-led online study with clear expectations at every step.

  1. Course Access

Students must complete all learning activities through the school's designated online learning platform, with accounts restricted to personal use only. From the course start date, the study window is capped at six months; the school reserves the right to void course results for students who do not complete within this period. The platform supports global access, and system-recorded progress serves as one of the bases for attendance and evaluation.

  2. Teaching Method

Courses are teacher-led and follow the school's academic schedule, including lectures, learning-task assignments, and guidance. Teachers interact with students through the platform and track and manage the learning process. Students must log in as required and participate; three consecutive days without logging in is recorded as an absence, and attendance factors into the overall evaluation.

  3. Assignment Requirements

Students must independently complete each assignment given by the teacher. Academic integrity is strictly enforced across all assignments — plagiarism, ghost-writing, and submitting AI-generated content as original work are prohibited. The school verifies work through both human review and technical means; violations may result in mandatory resubmission, invalidated grades, or course failure.

  4. Assessment System

Final grades are determined based on the Ontario curriculum standards and the school's assessment policy, evaluated across four dimensions: learning records and class participation; quality of assignment completion; quiz and exam performance; and attendance. The combined evaluation determines the final subject grade and affects graduation and university admission eligibility.

  5. Examination Policy

All examinations must be completed by the student in person and independently. The school reserves the right to use identity verification, online proctoring, and other necessary measures to safeguard exam integrity. Exam content and format follow Ontario curriculum standards, and exam results form an important part of the overall evaluation. Violations of exam discipline are handled strictly under the school's academic integrity policy.
