Aurelian OSSD graduates apply to top universities worldwide. Each destination country has its own admissions system, intake calendar, and credential expectations — the summary below reflects the current published guidance.
Canada is the home of the OSSD; all Canadian universities recognize the OSSD diploma at 100%. Applications are submitted through the OUAC (Ontario Universities' Application Centre). Most universities require the completed OSSD plus at least six 4U/4M-level courses. Offers are rolling from October through the following May.
Over 500 US universities accept OSSD transcripts. Ivy League schools require an OSSD average of 90%+ paired with strong SAT/ACT scores. Top-50 public universities fully recognize the OSSD; some majors waive standardized testing. Universities ranked below Top 40 (e.g. NYU, BU) commonly operate SAT-optional admissions for OSSD applicants.
All eight Group of Eight universities accept the OSSD. OSSD students may apply directly to first-year undergraduate on the strength of Grade 12 results — no foundation required. Universities assess the average of six Grade 12 4U/4M courses and convert it to an equivalent ATAR band.
